Insurance
This supplier provides statutory limits of liability insurance as shown on the rental agreement at time of rental. Please contact your rental location for additional information.
The renter is responsible for all damage to or theft of the vehicle as described in the rental agreement. For an additional fee, the supplier will reduce the renter’s responsibility through the purchase of excess reduction at the time of rental. Please contact your rental location for additional information.
In some cases, renters may be covered for loss or damage to the rental vehicle by their personal insurance or charge card. Such coverage may contain a deductible or may not be primary. Please check with your insurance company or charge card company before you rent.
Optional Excess Reduction
In New Zealand, optional excess reduction fee reduces the excess in most cases from $3093.75 (3937.50 for wagons, 4WD's and green vehicles) to $253.13. Varies by age of renter, location, type of vehicle and rate. Note: ER does not cover certain loss or damage and cannot be waived in full.
Subject to the supplier's terms and conditions of the rental agreement. Please note: This is to be paid for at the time of the pick up of your vehicle from the supplier.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that clients ensure they take out the highest level of travel insurance. In many cases this will cover any losses incurred if you are forced to cancel your booking.
